The mission of the Indiana Association for the Education of Young Children, Inc. is to promote and support quality care and education for all young children, birth through age eight, in Indiana.

As a state affiliate of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), Indiana AEYC functions as a state wide, non-profit 501(c)3 organization iwth 16 chapters and approximately 2,000 members.  We have a 43-year history of promoting and supporting quality care and education for all young children, birth through age eight, in Indiana. Our mission is accomplished by concentrating on offering professional development for those in the early care and education field, assisting in the improvement of program quality, and championing public policy pertinent to young children.
