Patricia Cole - Senior Director
Pat holds a Master's Degree in Public Health from Indiana University and has training and certifications in PITC infant/toddler, Technology of Participation Skills, Creative Problem Solving, Supervisor Training, and Multiple Project Management. For 13 years, she was a licensed family child care home provider. In addition, she has served as a coordinator for Step Ahead, First Steps, and Child Care Resource and Referral in Brown County, and she has acted as a field support specialist with the Indiana Association for Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies, a project director/coordinator for Healthy Child Care Indiana and the Indiana Child Care Health Consultant Program. Before becoming the Indiana Accreditation Project's Senior Director, Pat was the associate interim director of the Early Childhood Center at the Indiana Insitute on Disability and Community, then a Quality Advisor for Family Child Care Homes with the Indiana Accreditation Project.
Pat's passion is to promote equal access to high quality care and education for all children by supporting and recognizing the providers of that care.

Cindy Bays - Quality Advisor for Family Child Care Homes
Cindy Bays is a Quality Advisor for Family Child Care Homes. She earned a Master of Education degree from Indiana State University. Prior to joining Indiana AEYC, Cindy was a Head Start Teacher, Head Start Site Manager, Ivy Tech Adjunct, Non-Formal CDA Instructor, and a Mentor for Paths to QUALITYTM. For more than 10 years, she has utilized unique approaches and down-to-earth resources to train teachers on a variety of topics. Cindy is active in her local Indiana AEYC chapter and is also a member of NAFCC and the National Head Start Association.

Kara Ketter - Quality Advisor for Licensed Centers and Registered Ministries
Kara is a Quality Advisor for Licensed Centers and Registered Ministries. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts degree in Elementary Education with a focus on Early Childhood, both from Ball State University. Having taught in or co-directed part-day and full-time programs and licensed centers, including a NAEYC-accredited program and a Paths to QUALITY-enrolled program, Kara has worked through the accreditation process as a teacher, supervisor, and director. She has facilitated workshops on a variety of topics, including the FOUNDATIONS, developmentally appropriate practice, and emotional development. Kara, who has a passion for serving children, families, and caregivers, is the Public Policy Chair of her local Indiana AEYC chapter.

Kathleen Likeness - Quality Advisor for Licensed Centers and Registered Ministries
Kathleen holds two Bachelor of Science degrees from Iowa State University, one in Sociology and one in Education. She earned a Master's Degree in Education from Indiana University. Before joining Indiana AEYC, she was the director of the Child Development Center at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne for 12 years, taking the center through the NAEYC accreditation process. Kathleen was also the executive director of the Early Childhood Alliance for nine years and the executive director of Beginning with Books in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she developed "Read 365!"

Katie Herzeg - Quality Advisor for Family Child Care Homes
Katie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Indiana University-Bloomington and a Master of Science degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Early Childhood Education from Indiana University-South Bend. Prior to working with Indiana AEYC, Katie spent seven years as a licensed family child care home owner/provider, taught kindergarten, was the director for three registered ministries over the course of 10 years, and spent more than two years as an Early Childhood Consultant in her local community. She holds current teaching licenses in Early Childhood (Infant - PreK) and Kindergarten-Grade 3 and is a certified High/Scope trainer. Katie is an active Board Member for her local Early Childhood Professionals of Northern Indiana (ECPNI) Chapter of Indiana AEYC.

Christy Prulhiere - Quality Advisor for Licensed Centers and Registered Ministries
Christy earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development from Indiana State University. Prior to coming to Indiana AEYC, she was the Ready To Learn Coordinator at WFYI, a center director at Day Nursery Association, an infant/toddler director for Corporate Family Solutions, and was a Head Start home visitor. Christy also worked for the Marine Corps Child Development Services, where she was a family child care director, Resource and Referral specialist, training and curriculum specialist, and an assistant center director.

Becky Satterfield - Quality Advisor for Licensed Centers and Registered Ministries
Becky earned a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and Kindergarten-Primary Education from Ball State University. For nearly 10 years, she worked as a teacher with administrative duties in a licensed and NAEYC-accredited child care center. She also served as adjunct faculty for Ball State University and was involved with the Professional Development School Network.

Jackie Bond - Quality Advisor for Family Child Care Homes
Jackie graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Vocational Home Economics Education and earned a Master of Science in Early Childhood Education from Indiana University. She has worked as an owner/director of a licensed childcare home for thirteen years, served as the Education Coordinator for the South Central Community Action (SCCAP) Head Start Program, and taught middle school Family & Consumer Science education.
