- Presentations must reflect developmentally appropriate practices as defined by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and participating organizations.
- Completed workshop proposals must be accompanied by a copy of the workshop outline that includes the content and presentation techniques to be used and a copy of a one-page resume depicting early childhood education and experience for each presenter. Proposals received after the deadline will be considered, but may not be printed in the preliminary conference program.
- Only two presenters per workshop will receive conference registration.
- Reimbursement for supply expenses will be paid up to $50.00 per presentation with a receipt. Receipts must be submitted within two weeks after the conference.
- To maximize participation, the majority of rooms will be set theater style (rows of chairs.) Room sizes range from 100-200 people per room. Classroom style is very limited and cannot be guaranteed.
- An overhead projector, screen and microphone will be provided in each classroom. Additional AV equipment may be rented through the Convention Center at the presenter's expense. An AV order form will be sent with acceptance letter. Presenters may contact the Convention Center at (317) 262-3400 for more information.
- Selling in workshop rooms is strictly prohibited. Tables are reserved in the exhibit hall for presenters. Developmentally appropriate products and services may be displayed at the "Presenter's Table" immediately following the workshop upon consent of how the table will be used.
