Registration Information:
- If registering a group, please fill out one registration formform for each person.
- On-site registration is available for Friday and Saturday only. It is not possible to register on-site for the Thursday Pre-Conference.
- No call-in registrations will be accepted
- Mail-in registrations will not be accepted after March 19, 2010
- Participants registering by March 12 will be entered to win an Indiana AEYC membership!

Payment Information:
- Registrations are transferrable, but no refunds will be issued.
- Payment in the form of check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or purchase order must accompany the registration form.
- A $25 fee will be applied to all returned checks.
- Registration does not include: an Indiana AEYC/NAEYC membership, hotel stay, meals, or other fees associated with conference attendance (such as parking)
- Indiana AEYC does not reimburse for an Indian AEYC/NAEYC membership, hotel stay, meals, or other expenses associated with conference attendance.
- Registration for Thursday Pre-Conference (April 8) requires a separate registration fee from the General Conference (April 9, 10).

Purchase Orders:
• A separate registration form must be completed for each individual listed on the purchase order.
• Send all registration forms with the purchase order.
• The purchase order number and the issuing organization’s information (including address) must be completed on every registration form.

Getting the Final Conference Program:
Those who have registered for the conference by the March 19th mail-in deadline should expect to receive their name badge and receipt by mail. All others should check in at the registration area outside Exhibit Hall C.
It is necessary to bring the receipt/name badge to the conference in order to receive the Final Conference Program.

Is the CDA Advisor Training (Pre-Conference Session E) Right for You?
|
The Indiana Association for the Education of Young Children, Inc. is assembling an elite cadre of qualified individuals to be CDA Advisors for regions throughout the state. You may qualify to be part of this group if you:
|
|
• Hold a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or a related field that was issued by an accredited college/university. The degree must include 12 semester hours covering children, birth to age 5.
|
|
• Have a minimum of one year of experience as a caregiver, teacher, child life worker, or
similar role working directly with children (experience must be in the same age range as the classroom of the CDA Candidate served by the CDA Advisor).
|
|
• Have had a minimum of one year of responsibility for the professional growth of another adult.
|
|
• Knowledge and comprehension of and direct experience with the CDA process, Competency Standards, and 13 Functional Areas set forth by the guidelines of the Council for Professional Recognition.
|

In addition to meeting the above requirements, an Advisor for a Bilingual Specialization Assessment must meet the following requirements:
• Be able to speak, read, and write English and another language well
enough to understand and be understood by both children and adults
• Have had direct experience with bilingual early childhood programs and with non-English-speaking populations
