WHO IS INDIANA AEYC’s AUDIENCE AND MEMBERSHIP?   Indiana AEYC’s audience/membership is comprised of early care and education professionals from various professional settings, including: child care centers, registered ministries, family child care homes, Head Starts, Early Head Starts, preschools, colleges/universities, elementary schools, state government, and policymakers.   Indiana AEYC’s audience/membership hold various titles and positions, including: program directors, school administrators, teachers, family child care providers, education coordinators/trainers, government administrators/regulators, resource and referral specialists, early interventionists, home visitors, and parents.   Indiana AEYC’s audience/membership serves young children, birth through age eight, and their families.

Early Childhood Professional Development Sponsor, $40,000 Help early care and education professionals gain increased early childhood/child development skills and knowledge as they pursue a national Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential, an associate degree from a two-year college or university in Indiana, or a bachelors degree from a four-year college or university in Indiana. Support at this level covers the cost of a training class, test and advising through the Indiana Non Formal CDA project; or tuition, books, travel, release time from work and counseling through T.E.A.C.H. The work of the Indiana Accreditation Project is aligned with nationally accredited bodies and provides support to improve early childhood for programs that are committed to meeting national standards of quality. Each scholarship covers a portion of the cost associated with self-study, application, candidacy, supplies and equipment.
